Mad Fish Glass Beads
Handmade glass beads made into one of a kind jewelry pieces
I started making glass beads over 18 years ago. We were on a vacation in Nelson BC and I saw someone making beads and I knew I had to melt glass! I bought a book and a blow torch and taught myself to make beads. Lampwork is a type of glasswork that uses an oxygen propane fueled torch to melt rods of clear and colored glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by shaping with tools and hand movements. Beads are then fired in a kiln giving lasting strength. I make my one-of-a-kind beads into gorgeous jewelry pieces. I look forward to sharing my art beads and jewelry with you.
